To kick things off I am delighted to announce the Platinum Jubilee Celebration: The World Famous Black Dyke Band. In celebration of HM Queen Elizabeth's Platinum Jubilee the world famous Black Dyke Band will provide you a scintillating evening with thrilling film scores, toe tapping big band music and patriotic favourites to celebrate the reign of Her Majesty. They have been described as the most famous brass band in the world and right on our doorstep.

Whitworth's Jubilee Celebrations
This is a family fun filled event at Whitworth Valley FC Ground to celebrate the Platinum Jubilee. There will be live music such as Graham Shellard, Jagermaestros, more than melody and sing a long, as well as food, drink and inflatables with tickets only from £5 per person available:

Picnic in Queens Park
The Rotary Club of Heywood are proud to announce a joint venture with the Friends of Queens Park in celebrating the start of the Queens Jubilee with a picnic in Queen Park on Thursday 2nd June 2022 at 12noon till 17.0pm with live music on the bandstand. Come down bring a picnic blanket and food and enjoy a summer afternoon eating enjoying the sun food and park while being entertained with good music and celebrating the Queens Jubilee
